By now, you’re probably aware that a new version of Microsoft Dynamics GP will be released on December 19, 2012. Dynamics GP 2013 brings with it many substantial changes, including over 150 new features and a completely redesigned licensing structure.
If you are at all familiar with Dynamics GP 2010, you may recall that users were given a choice between the Business Essentials and Advanced Management editions, along with various á la carte modules when designing the system that best fit their needs. However, with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, the Business Essentials and Advanced Management editions have been replaced with the Starter and Extended Packs. It’s important to note that with this new licensing system, each user gets access to every module that’s included in the pack(s) you buy. You no longer need to purchase individual modules.
